Hi, I’m Arturo Carranza.

I got my Bachelor's Degree in Marine Biology in Mexico City and lived in  Japan for a year to study the culture of marine fish and crustaceans. I have also completed several courses in fish disease and water treatment.

I worked as a Fish Curator and Park Manager for 15 years in the most important dolphin and fish recreational park in Mexico City. Moving to San Diego allowed me to expand my profession as a Senior Aquarist for 13 years. My hard work reflects in my proud and happy customers.

I started Vivart Aquariums not only because of my vast experience, but because of my true passion towards marine life and the positive impact it creates. Throughout my years of experience, I have offered excellent customer service and developed techniques to maintain healthy aquariums.
